ABOUT Steve TaylorSteve Taylor is an author and teacher, whose main interests are anthropology, psychology and spirituality. He is the author of The Fall: the Evidence for a Golden Age, 6000 Years of Insanity and the Dawning of a New Era. His most recent book, Making Time, was published in August 2007 by Icon books in the UK. The book is due to appear in Dutch, Korean, Russian, Spanish and Japanese editions, while The Fall has just been published in Spanish translation. Steve's articles and essays have been published in over 30 academic journals, magazines and newspapers, including The Journal of Consciousness Studies, The Transpersonal Psychology Review, The International Journal of Transpersonal Studies, The Scientific and Medical Network Review, Anti-matters, Soul and Spirit, Paradigm Shift, Green Spirit, Odyssey (South Africa) Resurgence and The Daily Express. His work has been featured widely in the media in the UK, including on BBC Breakfast, BBC World TV, Five Live and in The Guardian. He teaches courses on personal development (mainly on time perception and the psychology of happiness) at the University of Manchester CCE, and also teaches students with specific learning difficulties at Salford College. He regularly gives talks and lectures, and is a member of the Scientific and Medical Network. Steve lives in Manchester, England with his wife and young children.
