ABOUT Steve TaylorSteve Taylor is an author and teacher, whose main interests are psychology and spirituality. He is the author of The Fall: the Insanity of the Ego in Human History and the Dawning of a New Era. His most recent book, Making Time, was published in August 2007 by Icon books in the UK. The book has been published in Dutch, Korean, Russian, Spanish and Japanese editions, while The Fall has just been published in Spanish and German translations, and will soon be published in Polish. His new book Waking from Sleep will be published by Hay House in February 2010. Steve's articles and essays have been published in over 30 academic journals, magazines and newspapers, including The Journal of Transpersonal Psychology, The Journal of Consciousness Studies, The Transpersonal Psychology Review, The International Journal of Transpersonal Studies, The Scientific and Medical Network Review, Anti-matters, Soul and Spirit, Paradigm Shift, Green Spirit, Odyssey (South Africa) Resurgence and The Daily Express. His work has been featured widely in the media in the UK, including on BBC Breakfast, BBC World TV, Five Live and in The Guardian. Steve taught courses on personal development the University of Manchester CCE for several years and is now a psychology lecturer at Leeds Metropolitan University, and a researcher in transpersonal psychology at Liverpool John Moores University. He regularly gives talks and lectures, and is a member of the Scientific and Medical Network. Steve lives in Manchester, England with his wife, two young children and new baby.
