A heartfelt welcome to my website. Here you'll find information about and extracts from my books, a selection of published and unpublished articles and other snippets of information. My writings cover a wide range - spiritual experiences, history, anthropology, the psychology of time perception and of human well-being - but I see them as an attempt to explore and explain different varieties of human experience, particularly experience which stems from what the psychologist Abraham Maslow called 'the farther reaches of human nature.'
